Scream for Darfur

Youth Leadership

In today’s society, there is a prevailing attitude that youth are dysfunctional, unknowledgeable, apathetic, and incompetent. We are living proof of the opposite.

We are actively seeking intelligent, conscious, and self-driven individuals who refuse to accept the world as it is, and refuse to have their voices marginalized because they are youth. Our membership comes from university and high-school aged students alike, although our doors are open to contributions from all.

If you want to challenge society’s notions about what the world should be like, and who is capable changing it, this is the movement for you.

Project Darfur

Right now, Project Equity teams are visiting schools across Toronto, raising awareness regarding Darfur and inviting students to make a difference in their community through a powerful assembly/presentation. We are willing to come to your school this month to put this on. What do you have to do? Simply act as a liaison! Book an appointment with your principal and hand them the following letter. Be quick though because dates are limited.

Project Overnight Hope

One of our members created an event for high schools that not only raises money but is fun to run as well. It’s kind of crazy but we promise it will be one of the most memorable high school experiences you will ever have. The following is a letter by the organizer.
